Hello! My name is Kristina and I document love stories.

I started my journey to become a wedding/ elopement photographer nine years ago and still feel that I have the best job in the world. My goal for every shoot is to capture real connection between the couple—to tell their story in a way that is honest, meaningful, and creative.

In order to do that, I’ve adopted a style that is photojournalistic rather than posed and focused heavily on the couple. My edit style is warm and slightly moody.

I was born in a tiny town on the west coast of Michigan. I moved to the east coast for culture, then the California coast for sunshine and finally to the Pac Northwest for love. But at heart, I’m still a Midwest girl.

I take a lot of inspiration from shooting in nature and have a wandering soul. My happy place is in the middle of nowhere — preferably with mountains and tall trees.

I still can't believe how incredibly blessed I am to be doing this work, but as much as I enjoy creating art... it's not the sole reason I do this. I love being a part of something special—a story filled with adventure and love.

A few things this crazy, wonderful journey has taught me... be brave, live with passion and never be afraid to design the life you dream for yourself.
